AI Listing Summary

This 1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500 is a presentable example needing recommissioning after storage, including addressing a clutch issue. It features a stainless twin exhaust, wire wheels, and a hardtop, with a believed previous restoration, though lacking history.

Condition

6

The car is described as being in tidy overall condition, but it needs some recommissioning following a period of storage. The paintwork is even but a little flat in places, and the interior exhibits some age, needing a new canvas hood. There's a problem with the clutch, although a replacement is included.

Finished in red, this sporty little Spitfire appears to be a solid and usable example in tidy overall condition, although it will need some recommissioning following a period of storage.

The paintwork is even, if a little flat in places, and the chromework is in decent condition.

There is a sporty twin exhaust pipe fitted which sounds great.

The interior appears to be complete and exhibits some age, although the vendor tells us a new canvas hood will be required.

The white hardtop exhibits some very minor rust staining.

Unfortunately, there is no history and the vendor has applied for a replacement V5C as the original has been lost - we are hopeful that this will be received by the time of the Auction.

It is believed the Spitfire has been restored previously, and we can well believe that - although we have no proof.

The Spitfire starts and runs although there appears to be a problem with the clutch.

There is a replacement clutch included.

HPi clear and offered with one key.
