This rare and early Mk2 Escort is a real find, especially given the fact it has only 2 previous owners from new, is in Ghia spec, and comes from long family term ownership.
The Escort itself appears to be in original factory specification, aside from an aftermarket pop up sunroof and wheels, although the original wheels are included.
The Ghia designation was the top of the tree in terms of specification for any Ford in the day, and this Escort is no exception.
The additional brightwork and square headlamps, front and rear bumper overriders plus vinyl roof really set this example apart from the more mundane Escorts of the period, and the interior is plush and welcoming, with plenty of chrome accents and wood effect finishes.
