We are delighted to offer this 1937 Austin Seven 'Ruby' in black and maroon with red leather interior, which is both charming and cute in equal measure.

Being nearly 90 years old, it does exhibit some signs of age, although this is completely in keeping with the character.

The rear bumper is missing, and although a sunroof features, it has been sealed up by a previous owner.

The interior also has plenty of patina.

It looks like the front seats may well have been retrimmed at some stage and the back seat could do with retrimming.

We are informed the petrol gauge doesn’t work.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any history with the Austin aside from the HPI report and the green ‘new keeper’ slip, plus a photocopy of a Hagerty Buying Guide.

The vendor has informed us that he has undertaken some recent work to improve the running of the Seven and he has undertaken an oil change.

We understand it features a four-speed manual gearbox.
