The P6 model was produced from 1963 to 1977 in Solihull, West Midlands.
It was voted European Car of the Year in 1964, the very first winner of this title.
This stunning 2200 SC model is finished in the original colour of Mexico Brown, complemented with fabulous Barley box pleat upholstery.
The Rover is original in all respects, as if it had just left a showroom in 1974, and in its 51 years of ownership has covered just under 26,000 miles from new.
It is believed to retain all its original body panels, and no welding has been done to any part.
This example was used by The Bolton Motor Co.
Limited as a demonstrator before being purchased on 15 th May 1974 for the sum of £2,050.
