We are very pleased to offer this very interesting 1985 Porsche 944 project - believed to be a LUX version - that also boasts automatic transmission.
Finished in Silver with Porsche sports seats and a sunroof, the 944 appears to be in original specification with the correct ‘pinstripe’ interior for the period and the correct ‘cookie cutter’ alloys.
The Porsche was purchased by the vendor in 2023 as a sound and usable 944, and he planned a part restoration which entailed going through the mechanicals and improving the cosmetics.
Unfortunately, due to family life and work commitments, the vendor has come to the conclusion that he will never complete the work and hence it is now being sold as is, and as a satisfying winter project.
The bonus with this example is that it appears to be sound, and the vendor advises us he has recently fitted a new cambelt and water pump, plus 4x new branded tyres and 2x new balance shaft belts.
