This is a total restoration project, there is no getting away with that, but this may be one of the most rewarding projects you could do.
For those who don’t know, read on and learn a little bit about a car that was way ahead of its time, but as circumstances dictated, never got very far.
The story is one of the motor industry’s biggest sadness, - if only it had succeeded, who knows where it may have ended up.
The brainchild of Humberside millionaire John Parradine, the Parradine Pegasus was launched amid great fanfare at the 1990 Geneva Motor Show.
Designed by Richard Oakes, it was the first production car to feature a composite Kevlar / carbon-fibre bodyshell, well ahead of its time and very clever, and was powered by a tuned version of the fabulous 5.3-litre Jaguar V12.
