We are pleased to offer this Mercedes SL 500 to auction, which is being offered at No Reserve and is in need of recommissioning.
We always like to offer cars that can be improved, as it gets some people through the winter nights, but more importantly it keeps another classic on the road for all of us to enjoy and admire.
The SL is such a regarded car and is probably most associated back in the day with sophistication and wealth.
It’s hard to believe that today they are such value at the moment - this surely cannot last, and there will come a point when the world realises what a great car they are and as we have seen before the prices rise accordingly to match.
Now is maybe the time to nip in and get one, and if that is your thought, you may as well get the 500 version with the silky smooth V8 engine.
This example has been with its vendor since 2018 and has been enjoyed until recently as circumstances have meant it has not been used much and that’s why it’s now for sale.
