AI Listing Summary

This 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL 280 is a usable example with a good service history, including 12 service stamps and recent maintenance totaling nearly £7,000 in the last 5 years. While the paintwork shows signs of wear and there is some corrosion, the interior is clean, the roof works, and it has a fresh MOT, making it a ready-to-go classic.

We are pleased to offer this Mercedes SL 280 auto finished in Brilliant Silver with contrasting black leather seats and wood trim, which really suits it.

Being a later ‘facelift’ example, it looks a little more modern than earlier R129 iterations - and the SL appears to be in original specification with the factory hard top and more modern style alloys plus Xenon headlights.

The service history is good, with its service book containing 12 stamps (the last at 101,000 miles this year), which is complemented with a few other invoices.

It appears that nearly £7,000 has been spent on the Mercedes since 2021! The paintwork has signs of wear and tear - and there is some corrosion on the leading edge of the passenger side front wing and on the back edge of the rear arch.

The interior is clean and tidy and features Mercedes branded footwell mats.

There is a little wear on the driver's seat bolster.

Matching Kumho tyres are fitted all round and the alloys are largely unmarked.
