Sporting a 60s look with an upgraded 1293cc engine, this Mini looks and sounds great.

This particular example started life as a 1980 ‘W’ registered Mini 1000, and has been reimagined at some stage as a Mk 3 Cooper S tribute with an age related ‘J’ reg plate.

In addition to the more visible external and internal upgrades, the engine specification is very impressive, a summary of which has been provided by the vendor: “Calver CST2001 Sport spec head (Equivalent to Stage 3) Upgraded valves with dual coil valve springs High compression pistons and ARP con rods Uprated cam Duplex cam drive chain Steel rocker set and arms Weber carb Upgraded fuel pump Lightened and balanced flywheel 3.1 diff Comes with 2 replacement doors plus other parts” Receipts for work undertaken date back to 2018, and these include an invoice for £2,796.81 in 2018 for the engine work and smaller sundry items alone.
