Here we have a great opportunity to get yourself an icon of the 90s, a Vauxhall Astra 2.0 GTE finished in metallic black with a lovely contrasting grey velour interior.
This example looks to be in factory standard specification and on a set of the correct GTE alloy wheels.
It has been in a private collection, hence the condition is rather good.
As always, there are things to do to it as you would expect on a car of this age.
The interior is in quite good condition and the rear parcel shelf is not fitted with speakers - a rare thing on these.
This GTE has only had three previous owners, again rare on a hot hatch as they normally have many.
There is not a lot of paperwork, it has been misplaced over time, but that’s not the end of the world.
It is fitted with the electric dash and has a manual sunroof fitted from the factory.
Generally, these were built in lower numbers than the equivalent Ford of the time, which in turn makes them a lot rarer and bizarrely cheaper.
