It’s not often we see an example like this! We were fortunate enough to sell ‘SRY249G’ a couple of years ago to a gentleman who put it into his collection and apparently never drove it.
It was stored with some other nice machinery as stablemates, but the time has come for him to slim down his collection.
This is a Ford Cortina Lotus MK2 finished in the Alan Mann colours of red with gold stripe, with the black interior.
Finished to a very high standard, it is simply stunning in every way! There is a host of photographs showing the rebuild it went through and copies of a magazine article explaining some of its life history, which is very interesting.
With its condition, history and what it is, this has to be a very unique and desirable example, which we are very honoured to bring back to market.
