AI Listing Summary
This 1934 BSA Ten Saloon is a rare example featuring a pre-select gearbox and a lovely retrimmed interior. It has been resprayed in Black over Maroon and is reported to start easily and operate nicely, making it a quirky alternative to more common classics.

Condition

The car is described as being in overall solid condition with the bodywork holding up well and the paint producing a pleasant shine. The interior has been retrimmed to a high standard and appears to be unworn. It has been dry stored since restoration and only used on sunny days. However, the listing mentions the car was resprayed at some point, suggesting some wear and tear. Therefore, a 'Very Good' rating seems appropriate.

Exhibiting no fewer than six different body styles at Olympia that year, embracing the work of Mulliners of Birmingham, Holbrook of Wolverhampton, and Salmons of London, while the standard factory saloon coachwork was supplied by the Pressed Steel Co Ltd of Oxford.
Built by BSA's Daimler subsidiary at Coventry, the 10hp was powered by a 1,185cc four-cylinder engine driving via Daimler's characteristic fluid flywheel and four-speed pre-selector transmission.
This example was first registered on 12 May 1934, and is believed to have been Black over Green at some time pre-2000 before being resprayed.
Its current colours are Black over Maroon.
The bodywork has held up well since, with the paint still producing a pleasant shine in the Autumn sun, and the interior appears to be unworn.
