This charismatic 1973 Volkswagen Beach Buggy is a brilliant example of an iconic concept.

The idea of fun beach buggy-type cars has passed through the ages, and this model is a great example that features many desirable upgrades.

First registered as a Volkswagen Beetle, it appears the Buggy was imported into the UK in 1993, we believe from Australia and the VIN number identifies it to be a Type 13 Superbug.

It now features a fully open body design, with two COBRA racing seats with a pair of red racing-style seat belts and a useful storage space behind the seats.

The interior is complete with a small diameter Mountney steering wheel and a CD player.

The seats ideally require attention as the cloth is a threadbare in places.

A small fire extinguisher is also included.
