Condition

7

The car is described as being in standard and unmodified condition, which is a positive. The paintwork has been machine polished to address swirling. The interior is well-preserved, but there's mention of some wear and tear, and the history suggests some mechanical work has been done recently (rear springs, brakes, service). Overall, it seems to be in solid condition with minor wear.

The Nissan Pulsar GTI-R was developed in the early 1990s as a rally homologation special, created to compete in the World Rally Championship under Group A regulations.

Introduced in 1990, it was based on the humble N14 Pulsar hatchback but transformed into a formidable performance machine with a turbocharged 2.0-litre SR20DET engine producing around 227 bhp and Nissan’s advanced ATTESA all-wheel-drive system paired with a viscous limited-slip differential.

Compact, lightweight, and aggressively styled with its signature bonnet scoop and flared arches, the GTI-R earned the nickname ‘Baby Godzilla’ for its resemblance to the mighty Skyline GT-R.

Despite its impressive specification, the GTI-R struggled in rallying due to reliability and handling issues on rough stages, and Nissan withdrew after only a brief campaign.

However, on the road it became a cult classic, offering explosive performance in a small package, and today it remains a highly sought-after JDM legend among enthusiasts...
