Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This is a rare 1969 Morris Mini Cooper MKII that has been previously restored and features an upgraded 1380cc engine. While documentation from its early life is lacking, it presents well, though some mechanical attention (clutch slip) is needed.
Condition
7
The car is described as being in great condition throughout with a tidy exterior and interior, suggesting a well-maintained vehicle. The listing mentions a previous restoration to an excellent standard. However, there are some known issues like clutch slip and the need for attending to it, as well as the non-original front seats and upgraded components, which indicate slight wear and modifications that prevent it from being rated higher.

Description
Finished in Snowberry White with a black roof and black interior, this rare Mk2 Cooper is in great condition throughout.
Originally registered in Northern Ireland, we believe the Mini has had a full restoration at some point in time, although we are unaware of when and what work was undertaken.
It may well be that the colour was changed from beige to white when the restoration was undertaken, as the colour is showing on the V5 and HPi report as beige.
The mileage is showing at 67,000 miles, which we think is correct given the latest collection of MOT certificates, although MOT certificates from the 90s indicate a higher mileage covered.
The exterior is very tidy with minimal signs of use and age - as is the interior.
The front seats are after-market bucket seats, whilst the rear seats are of the original style and in good condition, as are the door cards and headlining.
There is a sports steering wheel, which looks great, as does the 100mph speedo binnacle.
