Description
Much coveted because of its good looks and great handling, Auto Express magazine hailed the Corrado as “one of VW's best-ever drivers' cars” at launch.
The VR6 model was listed as one of the “25 Cars You Must Drive Before You Die” by the British magazine, Car and “By far the most desirable version of the Corrado” by Auto Express.
This is a 1995 Volkswagen Corrado 2.9 VR6 'Storm' Limited Edition.
A UK-only limited production model, the Corrado Storm differed from the standard car by having some discreet 'Storm' badging, a colour-coded front grille, an additional Storm badge on the gear gaiter surround, 15 inch BBS 'Solitude' alloy wheels, and some previously optional items, such as the leather heated front seats, fitted as standard.
Only 500 were produced; 250 in Mystic Blue and 250 in Classic Green with a Cream leather interior, as we have here.
