The Cerbera, introduced in 1996, marked a bold new chapter for the British sports car manufacturer, TVR.

It was the company’s first 2+2 grand tourer and the first model to feature TVR’s in-house engines, most notably the powerful Speed Six inline-six and the brutal Speed Eight (or AJP8), a lightweight V8 developed with racing pedigree in mind.

Designed under the leadership of Peter Wheeler, the Cerbera was named after Cerberus, the mythical three-headed guard dog of Hades, symbolising its fierce performance and aggressive styling.

With its raw, analogue driving experience, distinctive looks, and minimal driver aids, the Cerbera quickly gained a reputation for being both exhilarating and unforgiving.
