We are very grateful to the vendor for letting us bring this car to auction.

This is possibly the best VW Golf we have ever seen, and maybe the only one available in the country.

The VW has benefitted from a nut and bolt restoration and shows immense attention to detail and quality.

You only have to look at it and you are instantly transported back to the 1970s, this is how good it is! It is finished in a very nice and period colour of non-metallic green with the brown houndstooth cloth seats with brown vinyl door cards and rubber carpets, exactly as it left the factory, and doesn’t even have a radio or speakers.

How good is that? The attention to detail is second to none, everything is detailed and most of it is either restored or new.

The engine bay is possibly one of the best we have seen and the Golf even sits on a new set of Firestone tyres on lovely restored wheels.
