Purchased in November 1977 from Leyland dealer Baulard & Fosters Ltd in South Shields by a lady who, according to the stamped service book, only travelled 17,424 miles in the next 13 years.

The story goes that after a minor altercation with an unseen bollard in 1991, she decided to give up driving.

Our vendor bought the Mini shortly afterwards and used it infrequently for a few years before passing it on to his partner and then buying back in 1995.

It will need a sensitive recommission, the A pillars, as you would expect, need to be done along with the offside front wing, rusting due to water build up on the inner wing.

The original vented sills seem to have been protected with the Ziebart treatment that was applied when new, but would need to be checked.

The floor panels also appear to be original.
