A Vauxhall built by Lotus, sharing the lightweight aluminium tub of the Elise but with a bigger stronger engine, the VX220 has the same enjoyable balance of minimalist, back to basics performance.

Similar in many respects to the Elise, the VX220 is rather more user friendly, with a longer wheelbase allowing greater cabin room, a drivers airbag and abs braking and of course the GM twin cam motor.

Vauxhall, be grateful for the name because if this was a Lotus it would not be as affordable nor as rare as it is today.

This naturally aspirated VX220 is finished in Silver with red and black leather and has, to the best of our knowledge, never been used on track.

Coming with a full service history including the all-important cam chain replacement and the knuckle damaging alternator renewal.

All the suspension has been upgraded.

Fitted with a front splitter, rear spoiler, rear diffuser and large capacity side vents.
