Here is a very interesting opportunity for someone.

If you are a child of the 1970s and you were into cars, you will remember magazines like Custom Car and Street Machine, and probably got excited about all the customised cars and Hot Rods (I know I did).

Well, here’s your chance to have one of those cars straight from the golden era of Hot Rods.

This example started life as a 1950 Ford Pilot and, according to the HPi, it was registered on 11/12/1950 and has only had 2 previous owners.

If this is correct, this makes it very rare as there can’t be many with such a low ownership.

The Rod looks fantastic and is everything you would want it to be.

It carries that American look with an open engine, which we believe is a Ford V8 mated to a manual gearbox, open wheels, 2 seats and a pickup style design - a great looking thing! The paintwork is very of the time, finished in a combination of grey, black and red with the flowing flames design down the side.

This is complemented with a set...
