From what we understand, it was purchased in 1971 by the original owner, where it did the bulk of its mileage in the first year of ownership, it was then parked up for two decades due to the owner's declining health.

In the early 90s the second owner purchased ‘BDN545K’ with 14,000 miles on the odometer and treated it to some sympathetic restoration and recommissioning work.

It has since been used as a weekend toy, being shown in various local shows.
