The Porsche 968, introduced in 1992, was the final evolution of Porsche's front-engine, four-cylinder sports cars, a lineage that began with the Porsche 924 in the late 1970s.
The 968 was a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Porsche 944, featuring a 3.0-litre inline-four engine that was one of the largest four-cylinder engines of its time.
It incorporated advanced technologies like variable valve timing (Vario
Cam) and a six-speed manual transmission.
Despite its balanced performance, refined handling, and distinctive design, the 968 was produced only until 1995, with just over 12,000 units made, making it a rare and sought-after model among Porsche enthusiasts.
