Believed to have been off the road for nearly 30 years, this is a great restoration opportunity for someone.

Purchased by Mr John Kelly of Spennymoor in 1976 when 3 years old for the princely sum of £1,075 - the original purchase invoice is still on file.

The handbook, Ford Sure booklet, and accessories booklet are also present in the file.

There are also a couple of invoices for parts purchased in the 80s and 90s.

The car is clear on the HPi register and is shown as a Capri 1600 Base model, although it is badged as an XL.

You will need to undertake your own checks to establish the correct variant.

We recommend you visit our premises if you are thinking of purchasing the Capri to establish the amount of restoration work required.

We havent tried to start the Capri and the steering lock cannot be released although there are keys.

The brakes are binding as well.

Old style V5 present.

HPi clear.

Once restored, this Capri will look splendid.
