We are very pleased to offer this very rare UK supplied Mercedes-Benz 250 S Automatic.
Supplied new by B&K Thomas Limited Mercedes Benz of West Bridgford, Nottingham, on 2/1/1968 to a Mr B.A.
Roberts of Conisbrough, Yorkshire, it was in family ownership until 17/3/2013.
That’s 45 years! It has only had two owners since, making three in total, which is not bad for a car that is 55 years old, and must make it one of the lowest ownership examples of its class.
It comes with a wonderful story and history with such things as the original invoice detailing the cost of the car (which was £3,048 including the extra for the automatic transmission and the power steering), along with some early correspondence between the customer and Mercedes, some photographs of the what we presume is the family with car, and a host of invoices and past MOTs.
There is also a set of invoices from later in life detailing a recommissioning of the car and the monies spent on it.
The Mercedes retains its origin...
