It comes complete with copy of Singer spares catalogue and service manual and Singer Club badges on the grille. It has many original period features.

Interactive 360° Panorama The original Singer 9 Roadster was launched in March 1939, production was suspended for the duration of the Second World War and a little after it.

The model was upgraded in 1949 to the 4A version which gave it a 4-speed gearbox and moving the 1074 cc engine forward to create a roomier 4-seater lay out.

The car was constructed with an Ash frame with steel and alloy bodywork which gave the car an impressive cruising speed of 55mph.

Laurence Ellis of Great Sutton, who kept till December 1952, 31 years in total.

It was then purchased by a Mr.

Peter Smith of Skipton and then on to its current owner who resides in Nantwich.
