£12,495 The R129 Mercedes SL is a car that only seems to become more handsome as it ages, and this 500SL is certainly no exception with its red paintwork and AMG kit.
This is one of my favourite cars that we have in stock and it says a lot that we ve kept it back and used it ourselves in the past couple of years, it truly does make for a lovely GT car that laps up motorway miles with ease.
This isn t a sports car by any means, and drives much better when you consider it to be a cruiser, which is an adjustment when you first look at it.
The big V8 up front pulls strongly and with plenty of power, and its only just about run in with just under 100,000 miles on the clock.
This car comes with a good amount of paperwork in its folder and has evidently been well cared for during its lifetime and still has its original book pack too.
It will also be provided with a new MOT.
