When the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu launched its year-long 'The Art of Custom' exhibition, Rainbow Chaser was given the ultimate honour and was placed directly in the main museum foyer, taking over the prime exhibition slot previously occupied by a multi-million pound McLaren F1
Subsequently fully restored and presented as Rainbow Chaser III, finished in two-tone purple with seaweed flames, complemented by a custom tuck and roll interior with a chrome dashboard and door cappings
