First registered on 09/06/1988 and supplied by Paramount Jaguar of Derby, finished in Solent Blue Metallic with Doeskin leather upholstery and distinctive Pepperpot alloy wheels.
Powered by Jaguar's 5.3-litre V12, this late-production Series III Sovereign represents one of the final developments of Jaguar's traditional luxury saloon Acquired in February 1989 by Professor Harry Smith for £24,625, remaining in his ownership until 2006, and maintained by Jaguar main dealers and recognised marque specialists including Sarsons and David Marks.
The extensive history file includes the original book pack, purchase documentation and comprehensive service records up to 2006, with further mechanical records covering the intervening years, including replacement head gaskets in 2016 Purchased by our vendor in 2021 as a non-running restoration project and subsequently entrusted to Jaguar specialist Tom Lenthall in Berkshire.
