Subaru has a long history of successful collaborations with some of the most respected names in performance engineering.

Its partnership with Prodrive brought remarkable success on the world rally stage and ultimately gave rise to the celebrated Impreza P1, whilst Litchfield further explored the marque's performance potential with its Type 25.

In 2010, Subaru joined forces with another legendary British engineering company, Cosworth, to create one of the most exclusive and accomplished road-going Imprezas ever produced, the WRX STI Cosworth CS400.
Based on the third-generation Impreza hatchback, introduced at the New York Motor Show in April 2007, the CS400 represented a significant development of the standard WRX STI.

With just 75 examples produced exclusively for the UK market, it combined Cosworth's considerable engineering expertise with Subaru's proven four-wheel-drive platform.

The resulting performance was remarkable, with 400bhp on offer and a claimed 0-60mph time of just 3...
