Iconic Auctioneers are delighted to offer another highly significant car from the personal Collection of Jeremy Clarkson: a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6, famously featured in Series 3, Episode 7 of The Grand Tour entitled Well Aged Scotch.
First broadcast on 22 February 2019, the episode saw Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May head to Scotland in three inexpensive and increasingly rare Italian classics.

Clarkson selected this Alfa Romeo GTV6, May a Lancia Gamma Coupé and Hammond a Fiat X1/9, with the trio setting out to discover whether there were still interesting classic cars available before their values inevitably followed the rest of the market upwards.
Clarkson was clearly rather taken with the handsome Rosso Alfa GTV6.

At the beginning of the programme he explains its appeal, highlighting its 2.5-litre V6, rear-mounted, five-speed transaxle, twin-plate clutch and four-wheel disc brakes.
