Background:
Introduced in 1994, the DB7 represented an important new chapter for Aston Martin and became one of the most successful models in the company's history.

Its elegant Ian Callum styling combined traditional Aston Martin cues with a thoroughly modern shape, and the model remained in production for a decade.
A significant development arrived in 1999 with the introduction of the DB7 Vantage and its new 5.9-litre V12.

Producing 420bhp in standard form, it transformed the character and performance of the DB7 and was available with either a manual gearbox or, as fitted to the example offered here, automatic transmission.
With its front-mounted V12, rear-wheel drive and beautifully proportioned two-door bodywork, the DB7 Vantage remained very much a traditional British grand tourer, combining considerable performance with a richly appointed cabin and genuine long-distance ability.
