The 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTi Cabriolet (Mk1) is a highly collectible, open-top modern classic hot hatch built by Karmann in Osnabrück.

While the standard Golf hatchback moved to the second generation in 1983, the Cabriolet famously retained its original Mk1 architecture until 1993, earning it a distinct place in automotive history.


The car on offer here is a simply outstanding example, finished in Schwarz (black) paintwork with black soft top and signature cheque cloth interior, it was collected by its one and only owner new in 1991.

Having been kept in the same garage from new, both the exterior and interior still display in remarkably original condition as you might expect
