The eighth generation of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution was introduced in 2003 and featured 17-inch Enkei wheels, Brembo brakes, Bilstein shocks and a five-speed gearbox
The VIII was the very first Evo model to have full UK factory approval and they were offered in a number of editions - the 260, FQ-300, FQ-320, FQ-340 and FQ-400 - with the final number corresponding roughly to the power output
The FQ340 offered 345bhp, 320lb/ft of torque and was capable of 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and 157mph.
Power was fed through a five-speed manual gearbox driving all four wheels via an Active Centre Differential (ACD) and Super Active Yaw Control (AYC)
Presented in well-kept condition throughout, this example is fitted with HSD performance coilovers and benefits from a tracker system for added security
The gearbox was rebuilt by CPP Motor Developments of Sandbach in July 2022, whilst further maintenance includes a replacement clutch, routine servicing and belt changes supported by invoices on file
