Description
The Fisker Karma EVer (Electric Vehicle with Extended Range) remains one of the most ambitious and distinctive luxury vehicles of the modern era.
Conceived by a Los Angeles-based team led by former Aston Martin Design Director, Henrik Fisker, whose previous work included the Aston Martin DB9 and V8 Vantage, the Karma combined dramatic styling, advanced hybrid technology and luxury grand touring capability in a package unlike anything else available at the time.
Built around a bespoke aluminium spaceframe chassis, the Karma features a longitudinally-mounted battery pack housed within the centre spine of the car and a front-mounted 2.0-litre turbocharged Ecotec engine acting as a range extender for its twin rear-mounted electric motors.
