With the exception of Radford Coachbuilders and Wood & Picket in the mid-sixties, radical conversions of the ubiquitous Mini over the years have tended to focus on outright performance.

More recently, however, Silverstone-based David Brown Automotive introduced their Singeresque re-imagined Mini sold as the Mini Remastered with the emphasis on luxury and bespoke design.

Their ethos is illustrated by an extract from their brochure which reads; '' Inspired by Sir Alec Issigonis’ classic icon, our experienced design and engineering teams worked meticulously to remaster the vision to create a contemporary design classic.

De-seamed, strengthened and sound-proofed throughout, Mini Remastered not only looks great, but has improved structural integrity and comfort.

The clean and elegant lines are brought to life with sculpted body-coloured wheel arch extensions and centrally-mounted exhaust outlets, providing the car with a classic, yet dynamic stance.
