Offering an extensive list of individually priced options, they created highly personalised cars that appealed to a well-heeled and often high-profile clientele.

Notable customers included Elton John, Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney, while one of the earliest examples is believed to have been commissioned by Hayley Mills in 1964.
This 1979 Mini 1275 GT Margrave was ordered new by Alan Gard, a prominent figure in the British ‘Jewellery Renaissance’ of the 1960s, whose work earned Royal recognition.

Remaining in London ownership from new, this one-owner example represents a particularly rare and well-documented example of a Wood & Pickett conversion.
