The Jaguar XJS 4.0-Litre Celebration represents the closing chapter of one of Jaguar’s longest-running and most recognisable grand tourers.

Introduced in 1995 to mark the end of XJ-S production, the 'Celebration’ specification brought together a number of desirable features as standard, effectively creating a run-out model that combined traditional Jaguar luxury with the benefits of the later AJ16 straight-six engine.

Its unique specification included chromed rear-view mirrors and headlight surrounds, Aerosport diamond-cut alloy wheels, steering wheel with wood sections top and bottom, a black handbrake lever with full leather cover, a leaping Jaguar embossed into the leather in the upper part of the seat backs and contrasting piping around the seats and boot cover Powered by the 4.0-litre, 283bhp, AJ16 unit, the Celebration delivers effortless performance in keeping with its grand touring brief, paired with a well-sorted chassis and comfortable ride quality.
