Background: Launched in 1989, the R32-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R marked the return of the GT-R name after a 16-year hiatus.

Designed with motorsport in mind, it featured the formidable 2.6-litre twin-turbocharged RB26DETT inline-six engine, coupled to a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and advanced multi-link suspension.

Officially rated at 276bhp (often a bit more) and an impressive track pedigree, the R32 GT-R quickly gained a reputation as a technological tour-de-force, dominating Group A Touring Car championships and earning the nickname ‘Godzilla’ from the Australian motoring press.

The Car: Imported and first registered in the UK in June 2006, this right-hand drive 1993 R32 GT-R is presented in Crystal White over a two-tone grey interior of cloth and synthetic suede.

Now offered from six years’ current ownership, it displayed 84,100km on the odometer at the time of cataloguing, although this is not warranted.
