Launched at the British Motor Show in 1992, the Chimaera was introduced as a more practical, long-distance alternative to the TVR Griffith.
Powered by Rover's 4.0L or 5.0L engine, it became TVR's biggest selling model and sold over 5,000 units up until production ceased in 2003
The 4-litre car, as here, offered 240bhp, 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and 152mph with a 5-speed manual gearbox
