AI Listing Summary

This 1997 Rover Mini Cooper, a late example of the classic design, is finished in Metallic Volcano Orange with a white cap and stripes. Recent maintenance records and a long MOT until September 2026 suggest good mechanical condition, but limited earlier history may be a consideration for some buyers.

Condition

The car is described as a striking example, suggesting it's in good condition. There's mention of invoices for maintenance back to 2014 and recent brake work, indicating it's been cared for. However, there's very little history prior to 2014, and slight wear is visible in paint, interior, or wheels which places it at Very Good, and it requires minor reconditioning.

The 1997 Rover Mini 1.3 MPi represents the final evolution of the classic Mini, often referred to as the Mark 7 Introduced in late 1996, these 'Multi-Point Injection' (MPi) models brought modern engineering to the iconic 1959 design to meet stricter European safety standards - drivers side airbag, side-impact door bars, and seatbelt pretensioners (SRS) The Mini Cooper was the most common and sought-after MPi variant, often featuring racing stripes and contrast roofs.

Powered by the 1,275cc A-series inline-four with Multi-Point Fuel Injection offering 62–63bhp as standard Offered here is a striking example of the MPi Mini Cooper in Metallic Volcano Orange with a white cap and stripes There have been three owners prior to our vendor and the history file contains invoices back to 2014 for basic maintenance and recent work to the brakes in August 2022.

There is very little history prior to this but it has done less than a few hundred miles over the last ten years.
