Description
Introduced in 1960 to mark one million Morris Minors built, the Minor Million was produced for a short period only and remains a distinctive special edition within the wider Minor range The Million specification included unique badging - 'Minor 1000000' - and white leather trim when new, differentiating it from the standard saloon The proven Minor mechanical package wasn't changed retaining the 948cc A-Series four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a manual gearbox driving the rear wheels Purchased in 2023, from its previous keeper of 31 years, this example now forms part of a Morris Minor collection, and is very well known throughout the club This rare Million appears to have been well restored at some point, however, the piped white leather seats and door cards are almost certainly original Previously registered 1 MLL and is understood to have been used as the template for the production model of Minichamps Morris Minor Million
