One of just 1,677 Daimler Sovereign 4.2 Coupés produced, the pillarless two door variant of the Series 2 XJ range, combining the refinement of the saloon with elegant coupé styling and built in limited numbers to the end of production in 1978 Powered by the 4.2-litre XK straight-six engine driving through an automatic transmission, with independent suspension, disc brakes and power steering delivering the smooth, assured character for which these cars are known This attractive example is finished in Juniper Green with a black Everflex roof over a tan leather interior with nutmeg carpets complemented by tinted glass and chrome wheels.
