Finished in iconic Guards Red, this striking Porsche 928 represents a rare and compelling opportunity to acquire a well-known and previously competitive example of Stuttgart’s transaxle GT, offered in race-prepared specification.
Dating from 1979, this particular 928 enjoyed many years as a regular and reliable road car before being comprehensively converted to race specification in 2004 by its present owner.

The conversion was undertaken with participation in the HSCC 1970s Road Sports Series firmly in mind, and the car was subsequently prepared, developed and maintained by respected marque specialist Paul Anderson.
In period competition the Porsche proved to be an extremely capable and successful machine, achieving several outright race wins, multiple class awards and, notably, two class championship titles.

Well known within the paddock and highly regarded for its performance and reliability, this 928 was clearly a front-running contender during its active racing career.
