Launched to celebrate Honda’s 50th anniversary, the S2000 swiftly became a modern icon – a pure, analogue sports car that distilled the company’s racing DNA into a beautifully balanced and utterly reliable roadster.
Its naturally-aspirated, 2.0-litre F20C engine produced around 240bhp at 8,300rpm, paired with a wonderfully precise six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels.
