AI Listing Summary

This 1978 TVR Taimar, one of only 395 produced, features a Ford Essex V6 engine and British Racing Green finish. Recently featured in 'Ant Anstead: Born Mechanic,' it has undergone an engine service, heater box repair, and wheel refurbishment, making it a rare, collectible car ready for driving.

The car is described as a 'well presented example' that is 'running and driving nicely,' suggesting it's in good mechanical order. Cosmetically, it's finished in British Racing Green with an ivory stripe, but there's no mention of any specific cosmetic flaws or recent reconditioning needed, although the re-wiring and new core plugs in the early 2000's and refurbishment of the original wheels indicate past attention to maintenance. The presence of Wolfrace wheels suggests some level of customization or possible wear on the original wheels, so, assuming the listing is accurate, I've rated this as 'Very Good'.

The car was rewired and the engine had new core plugs in the early 2000s Purchased by Ant for his Born Mechanic show.

Attention included an engine service, the TVR heater box was plumbed back in and the original TVR wheels were refurbished and new tyres fitted (a set of Wolfrace wheels also come with the car) The Taimar offered a dynamic driving experience with undeniably impressive performance and this well presented example is running and driving nicely and ready to enjoy some winding B-roads once more Exterior
