We are pleased to offer this well presented, professionally prepared, second generation Cooper S that's currently powered by a 1,293cc unit prepared by renowned A-Series engine specialist, Bill Richards Racing.
A versatile little car, it took part in the 2003 BSW Motorsport Saloon and Sportscar Championship (Circuit Racing) finishing a credible third, run by Bill's team but is now essentially a rally car.
Believed to have been fully restored in the early 1990s, it benefited from a major refresh by Bill Richards between 2005/2006 to HRCT Category II-specification including a full engine and transmission rebuild.
The spec includes 1,293cc, Power Max pistons, Piper 285 camshaft, close-ratio gearbox, limited-slip differential, Hi-Lo suspension, adjustable shock absorbers, 5x10" Minator alloys, Cooper S discs and callipers, Minifin rear drums and a fly-off handbrake.
