Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I EWB is a historically significant factory prototype, the first long-wheelbase version ever produced. It has undergone a comprehensive restoration with significant investment, featured in publications, and maintained to a high standard both cosmetically and mechanically.

Condition
8
The car is described as being in very useable and attractive condition, having been beautifully restored both mechanically and cosmetically to a very high standard with over £50,000 invested. A bare metal respray was carried out, and the mechanicals have been fully recommissioned. The interior leather has been sympathetically restored. While it is not described as perfect, the extensive restoration work and high standard of presentation suggest it is in excellent condition with minimal cosmetic imperfections and requiring only minor reconditioning, if any.

Originally numbered 28-B, it was later renumbered ALC 1X and used internally by Rolls-Royce for development and transport duties before being sold to Weybridge Autos.
The Car: Finished in Sage over Velvet Green, YLG 990 is a rare and historically important example, presented in very useable and attractive cond...
