Background The Series Land Rovers were the models that established the company’s reputation for rugged, go-anywhere capability.
Launched in 1948 as an extremely utilitarian four-wheel drive vehicle, capable of tackling almost any terrain in virtually any conditions, they were used by farmers, the military, emergency and utility services, royalty, VIPs and the general public.
The Car First registered on 23rd November 1964, this Series II was purchased new by Searle to be converted into one of their camper conversions.
This vehicle is completely original, as sold by Searle in December 1964 to the first keeper.
