Background: The Renault Mégane 230 F1 is based on the recently facelifted Mégane and benefits from the more hardcore 'Cup Chassis', but with new rear dampers.

In addition to the standard Cup, it comes with £1,450 worth of extra equipment.

You get gloss black wheels and wing mirrors, plus luxuries such as climate-control, cruise-control and a more potent sound system.

However, the most important addition is the Recaro seats.

Press releases at the time claimed that the F1 Mégane 'provides the thrill of driving on the road that the R26 does on the track'.
